Very attractive Balinese style with very friendly staff.
Hibiscus is a very attractive Balinese styled property with great landscaping and a lovely pool. Our two bedroom apartment was large and had all the equipment we would have wished for. It was very close to the town centre, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
The only problem we experienced was due to the cyclone as the water was cut off one day - but we were so glad to be in that beautiful place, that was a minor consideration.

It was a lovely relaxing place and the staff were friendly
The pool and shade around were good, close to the restaurants and shops
Mobility restricted people would struggle. We ended up on the top floor with no lift! So taking luggage up and down stairs was tough. Aircon placed in the bathroom for the suite was unexpected

Nice Break in Port Douglas
The location could not be any better. The onsite staff were willing to be helpful. You were able to relax around either of the two swimming pools. Spending time with family.
Inconsistent Wi-Fi signal strength around the facility. Inability to be able to use the functionality of the Chromecast system attached to the TVs and the conflicting documentation for the set-up of same. The high daily rate when you have to pay for additional toilet rolls, among other things, i.e., there is no 'nice touch' about the place.
